How to Use Grease Gun and Overcome the Troubles

Main faults

First, the leather bowl does not work well. This is a common problem of almost all domestic grease guns, but no wonder, the structure of the grease gun is more complicated than ordinary tools.

Second, the oil pressure mechanism is not good, if the spring and check steel ball is not a problem, it is estimated that it can not be repaired.

Third, some failures in use. Many failures in use are caused by your own operation. You can find ways to avoid them. Such as sand particles, once the grease mixed with some sand particles, and then you use a sharp nozzle, then you will certainly be angry to throw the grease gun out to eliminate hate, which is definitely not good for the equipment, however, in fact, most of this is caused by yourself. Therefore, be sure to keep the grease clean, do not use unclean tools to refuel, and put the grease box in time.

Countermeasures

1. If you have a hard puller, you can pull it a few more times to let the air inside mix with the butter, reducing the volume of individual air bubbles may solve the problem, but the effect is not good every time.

2. The most effective method is the deflation method, but this needs to be supported by hardware. Some gun bodies have a venting design. When you slowly open the venting screw, the air inside will come out.

3. The last one is the last technique, and it has been tried many times. When you think there is gas inside and you can't get it out, just turn the fillet of the grease gun body and pump body a few times or turn back and forth a few times (preferably the side that turns the side pressure) and you are guaranteed success. The reason is not difficult. When turning, the air bubble inside also turns to another part, and the original part is filled with lubricant, so that the problem is solved.

Operation and requirements

1. Pull out the operating rod so that the piston inside the cylinder is close to the back cover, and then lock the operating rod in place.

2. Fill the cylinder with lubricating oil. When using the grease injector, put the upper end of the reservoir cylinder through the thin screw of the grease injector and use the grease injector to inject the grease into the reservoir cylinder. When injecting grease into the cylinder directly by hand, unscrew the front cover first, then inject clean grease into the reservoir cylinder directly by hand until the whole reservoir cylinder is filled, then unscrew the front cover and wipe the grease gun with cotton yarn.

3. Hold the oil reservoir with one hand and the lever with the other hand, then operate the lever reciprocally to expel the air in the cylinder. Stop the operating lever when grease is found in the oil nozzle.
